Mark is working in Washington Heights, Inwood, the Upper West Side, Riverdale, and West Harlem to tackle critical issues like affordable housing, education, and mass transit.
For the past decade and a half Mark has been a leader and an activist in our communities-- a former public school teacher, founder of successful community development credit union, and executive director of an after-school non-profit.
Now Mark has founded the “Barack Obama Democratic Club of Upper Manhattan,” which is dedicated to electing progressive candidates to local office, advocating for the needs of our community, and supporting the Obama administration in its efforts to advance a progressive agenda.
